Welcome to the website of Elisa Brown!

Elisa Brown is a singer/songwriter, director, and producer whose work is guided by one defining purpose:

To uplift people’s spirits.

A seasoned performer with decades of experience on stage, Brown has captivated audiences worldwide with her distinctive vocal style and emotionally resonant storytelling. Her performances are known not only for their range and depth, but for their ability to connect — illuminating lives and experiences that might otherwise go unseen.

As a featured artist, she has performed at Carnegie Hall, Symphony Space, New York City’s Theatre Row, and The Bitter End, as well as in concert venues around the globe. She hosted the PBS television program The Heart of Art with Elisa Brown and has been featured on television and radio throughout the United States and abroad. Critics have praised her “melodious, soulful singing” and her ability to deliver performances that are both diverse and deeply affecting. Tony and Molière Award-winning producer Mel Howard described her as possessing “charisma in spades.”

Throughout her career, Brown has used her platform to raise awareness and funds for those whose voices are ignored or silenced. At the same time, her work is deeply personal. Her recent one-woman show, Hoodwinked from Heaven, paid tribute to her late father, exploring how his love and wisdom shaped her life — an example of the intimate, human stories that anchor her performances.

Brown approaches every performance with the same intention: to offer comfort, connection, and a sense of healing. For her, music is a universal language — capable of expressing even the most difficult truths without confrontation, and of reaching people in ways words alone cannot.

Visitors are warmly invited to explore, watch, and listen—and she hopes they enjoy the journey!
